Adolescence can be a challenging time for youth and families. Teens encounter unpredictable emotions. They experiment with different attitudes, ideas, and behaviors. At times family situations, academic challenges, and peer pressures can add extra stress. Most adolescents successfully navigate this stormy period by drawing on family and community resources. For children who need more support in order to thrive, Elk Hill can help.

Elk Hill has been offering Community-Based Residential Services for boys and girls between the ages 11-18 for over 40 years. We have programs in Goochland County, Richmond, Charlottesville, and Fluvanna County. All of our residential facilities are Level A Medicaid programs. Our programs provide individualized service plans, an array of clinical services, and life skills. At Elk Hill, kids find the courage to succeed and the confidence to return to their families and communities whenever possible.
